Chill-out on Isla de Ometepe

+ From Granada we took a nice local bus to the harbour town form where to take the ferry to the biggest island on the Nicaragua lake, Ilsa de Ometepe. The bus was pretty full and it reminded us a bit to the Lao buses adventures... When we arrived to the harbour an important game was on (Madrid-Barca) and we had to take the latest ferry, but the views were still amazing of the two volcanos that are on the island.

+ The second day on the island we went to Santo Domingo, which has a real beach. Even though when we were there the lake was quite high and most of the beach was covered, it was still very nice.

+ The active parts of a day we spent having walks, riding a bike, visiting a lake inside the island, swimming, checking some archelogical site that no one could explain to us from when and which culture it was from... The sunsets were beautiful, with impressive thunder storms every night. We planned to climb one of the volcanos, but due to a stupid guide who kept on postponing the climb to the next day, we didn't do it in the end... What a pity...
