+ After a painful trip in a minivan of ten hours we arrived on the island of Flores. We did the trip with some friends we had just met in Semuc Champey.
+ Flores is in the north of Guatemala and is surrounded by a very large lake. This town was our basecamp to visit the next days the Maya ruins of Tikal (one of Kinga's dreams). And also the most important Maya ruins so far discovered.
+ There wasn´t much to do there but to swim in the lake and enjoy some nice local food.
