Si Phan Don & 4000 islands in the Mekong river

+ What can you do on a beautiful island in the Mekong river? Well: hammock-ing, riding a bicycle, tubing, watching the sun-set, taking a kayak and visiting the rare Irrawaddy Dolphines, participating to a local wedding to which everyone is invited, visiting waterfalls or the next island... or just being HAPPY as everyone seems to be on the island... :)  Well we did all...

 

+ We could see the mountains of Cambodia from the island.

 

  

 

 

+ Our bicycles (they were very low; like for children!) at the beach:

+ Dani found THE book he was looking for: the last part of Millenium!!!

 + Our lovely bungalow:

+ Sunset at our favorite bar: The Happy Bar:

+ Tubing; well it was a bit boooring... 

+ However, the kayaking was much more exciting!!

 + And as every day...

+ And the Lao wedding, with sound-tests from 7h00 in the morning (in front of our bungalow!) and warm beer and whiskey served from 10h00. Of course we danced to cheesy Lao pop, the Lao way... (you can see live performance when we are back!):
