Hoi An: beautiful colonial city in central Vietnam... And Finally the beach!!

May 11th

+ After 1 month in the north of Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, with wonderful landscapes, mountains, waterfalls, hills and their tribes, muddy rice fields and jungle... it was a great experiences but you know what?? we are still white!! Thus one have to say: STOP!!! and sing along:  Aqui No hay Playa, vaya vaya, aqui no playa,... lalala !!

+  Hoi An is a very nice colonial city in central Vietnam with nice beaches, a river, cheap seafood and plenty of shops: best place to get your tailored-made costume and a new hat :) !!

+ A bit of cultural Hoi An...  and our Colombian friend .

 + Where is Wally???

+ Of course, besides the beach, there were also plenty of ruins around to visit by bike and motorbike. This time from the Cham Empire which have lived in Vietnam from the 7th to the 15th Century. Still today some Cham people live in the south of Vietnam and Cambodia.   The place is called MySon (for whomever is interested).

Sapa: Trekking through the rice fields

May 9th

+ Amazing two-day trekking to visit the surrounding rice fields in the valley and to spend the night in a villager's house to get a bit closer to their culture. To be honest, we did not got too closer to the ethnic group culture but we got pretty wasted with them...

+After some 20 shots of  home-made rice whiskey, the situation got a bit out of control and the host got really crazy: in less than 1 hour, what it seemed first a calm evening turned into the village party disco : Epic!!

+ Next day.... 7 hours tracking back in not the best state....
